The first of its kind in Japan, this t-shirt is knitted from the Global Organic Textile Standard’s (GOTS) Controlled Supply Chain Scheme (CSCS) cotton. This prestigious program is limited to small-scale factories and workshops. Because this t-shirt is 100% cotton and free of artificial fibers, it is gentle to both people and the environment.
Substantial yet soft, the fabric of this t-shirt is naturally white, achieved without the use of any manmade additives, such as chlorine or fluorescent agents. 10-count single yarn is carefully knitted on vintage circular knitting machines, resulting in a unique, unforgettable texture—and one long lost to today’s fast fashion wardrobes.
